diy: graduation card

My brother-in-law’s birthday is four days away! And as I was thinking about what kind of birthday card to make him, I remembered a really cool card I made for him when he graduated from medical school last year.

I wanted to make a very special card, as no ordinary card would do, to commemorate the awesome achievement of becoming a doctor! Four years of heavy coursework, countless hours of clinical rotations, and intense studying for licensing exams definitely calls for a card with extra pizzazz!  It was a little tricky keeping this very dimensional card in tact (we were flying across country) but thankfully the diploma scroll kept its shape!

Cardstock Paper: DCWV Textured Cardstock (White Core)
Stamp: Close to My Heart My Acrylix – Everyday Celebration
Foam Squares, Recollections Graduation Sticker Set, Recollections Round Mini Brads, Ribbon (unknown)

Hint: Wrap the ends of the paper around a pencil to curl it
