diy: popsicle smoothie

Hubby and I have been on a smoothie kick lately (as one of our new year’s resolution of eating more healthy) but what do you do when the only fruit you have is a banana?! Well, you get creative! :)

Sometimes we use frozen fruits in our smoothies so why not use a popsicle?? We used one Trader Joe’s Fruit Frenzy Bar, a super tasty popsicle of three delicious fruit flavors (raspberry, lemon, and strawberry). The rest of the ingredients in our smoothie was a banana, vanilla ice cream (no sugar added), and orange juice. The result: a flavorful and refreshing drink, perfect for a sunny afternoon!
