diy: wedding save the date

the floor of our living room is a colorful throw-up of scrapbook materials and supplies, which isn’t always fun to clean up especially when you’re type A about where each sticker/stamp/adhesive goes in the storage/craft box.  but…it’s fun to come across an old project and remember how it went from an idea on paper to something real!! :)

below is snapshot of the save-the-date card we sent to our out-of-town guests.  the rectangular information sheets are held together by a metallic flower brad so each sheet swivels to reveal the sheet behind it.  our wedding colors (brown, green, and ivory) were also incorporated in the card design, which by the way is a great way for guests to preview what’s to come!
