diy: the less is more card

Happy Birthday Nick!

This card was given to my friend over a month ago. Life got busy (especially lately – sorry for the lack of posts!) and I thought this card was too simple to share so I held onto it until now. But I realized, sometimes, the simple understated card is just as good, too. These type of cards usually are quick to make since I don’t spend a crazy amount of time over-thinking the card size, layout, etc. Just keep a general color scheme, jazz it up with a dimensional embellishment, throw in a punch line like “Hoot & Holler”, and you’re done! Less is more, right? :)

Paper: Sandylion – Slam Dunk
Rubber Stamps: Studio G alphabet stamp set
Embellishments: Recollections dimensional stickers – Owl
Other: Recollections round mini brads, Foam squares
